Creation of specialized groups in BB Comms allows for quicker notification of groups that you send notifications to on a regular basis. Need to send something to only your EL student population? Create a group? Need to send a notice to parents of your after-school program only? BB Comms groups is the way to go.
To create a group you can complete the following steps as well as watch the video tutorial at the link below.
Groups must be created from the website. However, once created, the groups are also accessible from within the BB Comms application on your phone/tablet.
- Login to BB Comms.
- Navigate to Messages.
- Navigate to Groups.
- Select Add in the bottom right corner.
- Ensure your school name is listed
- Name your group
- Select Private or Public
- Private will ensure you are the only user that can use the group.
- Public will allow other users in your organization to use the group.
- Select the recipients.
- Save.
